HISTORY OF Azbil TA Co., Ltd.

Apr. 1955 Tokyo Automatic Control Co., Ltd. was established by Kenzo Miyazaki in Uchisaiwai-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo,
starting as the only specialized manufacturer of pneumatic equipment in the Kanto region.
Jul. 1961 Constructed the Saitama Plant in Sama, Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture (current location).
Jun. 1963 Entered into a technical partnership with C.A. Norgren Company (USA)
and established a joint venture, Taco-Norgren Co., Ltd.
Nov. 1971 Built a company-owned building in Takashimadaira, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo,
and opened the Sales Headquarters.
Apr. 1978 Merged with Taco-Norgren Co., Ltd. and increased capital to 120,960,000 yen.
Sep. 1984 Terminated the technical partnership with C.A. Norgren Company (USA).
Jan. 1989 Established TACO Seiki Co., Ltd. in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture to strengthen production capabilities.
Commenced operations in March of the same year.
Sep. 1989 Changed the company name to TACO Co., Ltd. (currently Azbil TA Co.,Ltd.).
Jun. 1994 Relocated the headquarters from Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo to Itabashi-ku, Tokyo (current location).
Nov. 1996 Obtained ISO 9001 certification (JQA-1434) for the Saitama Plant and TACO Seiki Soma Plant.
Aug. 2004 Obtained ISO 14001 certification (JQA-EM4191) for the Saitama Plant and TACO Seiki Soma Plant.
Mar. 2006 Constructed Building No. 3 for machining and research facilities at the Saitama Plant.
Nov. 2012 Joined the azbil Group, led by Azbil Corporation, marking a new chapter in the company’s history.
Apr. 2013 Changed the company name to Azbil TA Co.,Ltd.
Jul. 2024 Renovated the Saitama Plant:
- demolished Building No. 2 and constructed Building No. 10 for assembly and inspection.
- Partially renovated Building No. 3 and opened the Saitama Technical Center.
